Tumble Time is parent supervised open play for children ages 5 and younger, and their siblings.
TUMBLE TIME HOURS
For Tumble Time, our coaches set up kid-sized mats and equipment so that toddlers can explore the gym in a safe, fun and stimulating environment. Little ones can enjoy free time with their buddies. This is a great space to have play dates or bring your mom group. We understand that life with a toddler can be a bit crazy. It's not always easy to make it to the same time and day every week. With Tumble Time, you drop in any time, and stay as long as you’d like. Pre-registration is required.

Gymnastics Student Evaluations for skill level placement
Welcome to Intown Stars! Thank you for the opportunity to work with your child to find the right gymnastics skill level
for them. Evaluations are fun and easy. They typically take between 5-15 minutes, depending on the child’s experience
with gymnastics. Below are some general guidelines:
Evaluations are for new Intown Stars families ONLY or families who are not currently enrolled in a recreational gymnastics class. Currently enrolled gymnastics students are evaluated on an ongoing basis by their coach to move up levels.
Evaluations do not guarantee placement in a class. Our classes often have waitlists.
Evaluations are done only on Sundays between 3-5 during Open Gym.
Evaluations are done by an Intown Stars coach. Skills required for all beginner, intermediate, and advanced recreational classes are listed on the evaluation form, here, which will be filled out and provided to the parent during the evaluation.
Once the student is recommended for a class level, the recommended class level is documented in the child's account notes. The family may then register for the recommended class level through the Parent Portal or with a hospitality team member.
If further evaluation is needed for team placement, the evaluating coach will document the recommendation in the child’s account notes and send a request to the Team Evaluations Coordinator.
Evaluations for placement on a competitive team:
For NEW athletes (not currently enrolled in a class or team at Intown): For advanced athletes who
have recently moved to the area, or are interested in transferring from a different gym, go through the
evaluation process above. If your child is recommended for a team evaluation, the Team Evaluation
Coordinator will contact you directly to schedule, typically within a week. The Team Department will
contact you shortly afterwards with a placement recommendation.
For CURRENT students: Intown Stars hosts a Team Evaluation Clinic once per year for students to be
evaluated for team placement. Our Team Evaluation Clinic is held in May. Any athletes who are
currently enrolled in a recreational class and are interested in competitive gymnastics will need to
attend the Team Evaluation clinic.
Instructions for signing up for an evaluation:
Family will create an Intown Stars account if you do not have one, here.
In your account, register for evaluations through the parent portal, here. Evaluations are $10 per child.
When you arrive, go to the Hospitality desk and let them know you have arrived. The coach will come get your child when it is their turn. Evaluations happen during open gym. While your child is waiting to be evaluated, they are welcome to participate in open gym until their evaluation is complete.
Evaluations are done only on Sundays between the hours of 3pm-5pm.
and our Hospitality team will be happy to assist you.
